The 97th PVI Co. A is always looking for a few good members! Our membership is comprised of people from all walks of life and backgrounds. While our base is in Pinellas County, FL, our membership comes from all over Florida and beyond. We have members from Canada, New Jersey, Orlando, Key West, and all along the Florida coast lines. We welcome all people, regarless of race, creed, color, or gender. We look forward to meeting perspective members. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Membership FAQ What are your dues?
  • Dues are paid annually in January of each year. Payment can be cash or check. There are three levels of membership. $15.00 for an Individual membership, $20.00 for a Family membership, and $10.00 for an Associate membership.
What are the benefits of being a member of the 97th PVI Co. A?
  • Membership in a family oriented group of re-enactors.
  • Coverage by our unit insurance at any re-enactment that is considered a unit event.
  • A chance to learn more about the life and times of an American Civil War soldier.
  • Fellowship with people who have the same interest in the American Civil War.
  • Bi-monthly newsletter about the 97th and Civil War Topics.
  • Opportunity to participate in all phases of Civil War life. We have our own fife and drum corps, a regimental string band, artillary and anything else you may want to bring to the unit.
